Be interesting to see how HCCA responds to the noise coming from the Schiano hire.

Does he pose for a photo op with Greg in Columbus or does he burst into Urban's office and punches him in the nose? While the latter is less likely than the former, the lead up to the Fiesta Bowl just got more interesting.

Ash has yet to name his staff-does the Schiano hire change anything (I'm talking RU fan expectations)? Should it?.

And why would they be laughing at Hobbs and Barchi? Because they hired a guy with 19 years coaching experience who's credited with making the present Bucks defense one of the best in the country??

The only way there'd be a laughing in Urban's office would be if the clown show of a coaching staff we used to have was retained at RU.

Hobbs gets praised for making a small time hire because it was blessed by Urban Meyer. And then Meyer backfilled the position with the guy Rutgers probably should have hired back all along. Nationally this is going to get spun Rutgers being Rutgers why didn't they just hire Schiano back he is Rutgers.

Don't sweat the small stuff. In the final analysis, the choice was made, you and I and others like it, some don't. Coach will succeed or not on his own merits, and I have every confidence that he will. The proof will be in the results, which for the first time in three years I am excited to see.

No, I don't think it's a joke to Ash. It is just a unique/fascinating situation that probably isn't as uncomfortable as everyone wishes it would be.
