Didn’t see the Pitt WF but think they had an issue with a spot on a qb slide
that spot and the stupid penalties before it cost me a nice parley.
Waving the arm out horizontally is an illegal fair catch signal. It wasn’t above the head. He might not have been calling for a fair catch but it’s close enough to be misunderstood so it’s dead ball from that point.

The Tenn Alabama game was more confusing on the fair catch than Iowa. Was looking for a video of it. The guy barely does anything with his arms but it was ruled a fair catch a pinned them on the 4 instead of past the 20 and this player wasn’t even the one returning the ball.
