Rutgers football head coach Chris Ash met with the media after spring practice No. 13 of 2018 on Thursday. He spoke a little bit about the spring game, the offense during this time compared to the other two years, Micah Clark, and more.

- Ash said the offense is way ahead this spring compared to the past couple springs. He attributes part of this to having more scholarship guys in the locker room this spring.
- He also said that the young guys are developing into some of the better players on the team.
- Coach said that he will not be naming any starters on the offensive line, but stated that Seymour and Cole will be the starters at the tackle positions.
- As for defense Ash only gave away one name as a starter, stating that Bateky will be the starting defensive tackle. However he did not give away any hints at any other positions.
