OT: Texas to NC, including the freakin' Gulf Coast about to get rocked with a winter storm

10+" in the Lafayette area where the snow is ending, 8" now in New Orleans (was 7" in the tweet below) and 1-2" more to come, so their all-time record of 8.2" (1895) is in jeopardy, 5.4" in Mobile and their 6" all-time record will surely drop with 2-3" more to come and 2" OTG in Pensacola with pouring snow right now. Snow will be in Tallahassee soon and there's about 1" in Atlanta, where they were only expecting flurries. Storm is overperforming - wish ours did on Sunday, lol.

Update...
  • About 4” fell in Houston metro
  • 10+" fell in Lafayette, LA where the snow is over and where they had the 1st blizzard warning ever in Louisiana
  • 10" have fallen in New Orleans, shattering their all-time record of 8.2” set in 1895, with another inch or so to come,
  • 6.2" have fallen Mobile breaking their 6" all-time record with 2-3" more to come
  • And most amazingly, perhaps, 5” of snow has fallen in Pensacola Florida breaking Florida’s all-time record snowfall of 4” anywhere in the state. And it’s still pouring snow right now.
  • Snow has begun in Tallahassee and Panama City with several inches likely to come.
  • There will also likely be significant icing (up to ¼” of ice and some sleet/snow) in parts of far SE GA and NE FL
  • There's about 1-2" in Atlanta, where they were only expecting flurries.
  • And areas in SE GA and eastern SC are about to get hammered with a widespread 3-6” along the coast, including in Savannah and Charleston with lesser amounts inland
  • And Eastern NC is expected to get 4-8” of snow, including the Outer Banks, with lesser amounts inland
  • Storm is overperforming - wish ours did on Sunday, lol; we will possibly see some dustings tonight at the NJ coast from this storm.

Ranking Progress

Thanks again for the chart. I'm afraid Peterson won't have a chance at AA unless he can wrestle high level consistently. Olivieri has been progressing nicely and better than I expected. Andrew Clark has done well too. I hope SCW can win a few more ranked matches and elevate his rank. Harer hasn't gotten much recognition; he will need a few big wins to catch attention. This weekend will be a tough one for all.
We might win 2 matches against PSU which would be more then many other programs can say.. Illinois match should be fire.. it would be really nice if we pulled out a win there..

Bryce Dortch...please burn the Redshirt....!!

Correct. He needs a lot of work still, especially on the offensive end.

He’s on a P4 scholarship with that shooting stroke??

Come on man. A 6th grade kid got a better stroke than that.

He’s supposed to be ready for what next year?

That’s embarrassing and he wouldn’t have a spot on any other team but Pike’s.

Wow, the game's in the bag for the Chiefs

Well the Eagles are penalized less. They are 10th from the bottom in penalties this year. However if you listen to their fans, which I am forced to, you would think they are leading the league in penalties called. 🙄
Not this Eagles fan. But I understand your pain living in enemy territory. Think those Cinderella Giant runs in 2007 and 2011 were a picnic up this way? 😁

And you have folks in this thread claiming that the Eagles get every call too, even though it was pretty even last Sunday and they had plays overturned and called back (rightfully so). My brother-in-law was driving me nuts on Thanksgiving night complaining about Green Bay getting every call at home vs. the Dolphins. The truth is that the Dolphins were making boneheaded plays because they were freezing their balls off.

I find that when I'm at the RAC, as a fan, I let the emotion get the better of me and bitch about refs (improving a little there) but when I look at the replay, I realize they had the call right or at worst, it was borderline.

RIP RU super fan Dave Rosenthal

If you have been a regular at the RAC or the Stadium within the past thirty years, you knew Dave even if you dont associate the name with the face. Former usher supervisor and then RAC and Stadium regular after he retired from that. This guy bled Scarlet. He talked to everybody. He was 64 years old and died of a heart attack on his way to work today. RIP Dave
