It did not cost the ACC money. As I explained before in my previous post, back at that time ESPN was syndicating some of it's college football programming. They did that with other conferences, even including the SEC. It was a common practice back at that time.I haven't read the lawsuit, but I'd assume it did cost the ACC money as they could have sold it to someone else, and / or for a higher amount, yet it went to Raycom (otherwise, why would FSU put it in the lawsuit, and why was Swofford shitting his pants when the info became public)?
Furthermore, it's nepotism at its finest and wreaks of corruption, which, coming from that institution, is not the least bit surprising
With this guy’s lack of credentials it’s probably Greg lolGenerally speaking, I like anything coming out of JMU — solid program who seems to turn everything into gold.
The title begs the obvious question — who’s the other co-DC?
I think if nothing next season he would need to go but at Rutgers we will celebrate the most mediocre things as grand accomplishments. (Like being in the Dayton play in game or winning the Pinstripe Bowl).
I would argue we've had pretty bad luck the last few years. That doesn't mean it's necessarily enough of an excuse. But I definitely think our luck has been worse than average.I would imagine every coach in the country has a list of "shoulda, coulda, woulda" reasons for non-performance and missing key metrics (such as making the NCAA tournament) that they think are incredibly valid and "outsides just don't understand what we had to deal with".
Rutgers isn't as "different" as some make it out to be.
Case in point, we reached a half-deal with Mexico and markets have recovered almost all losses in a matter of minutes. Still volatile though and Canada up next. And when the math changes back, the face ripping rally happens in a blink of an eye.
I think gross negligence by anyone is reprehensible.I always wonder what the "its DEI crowd" think when a white male screws up.
