With a stat line like this deserves a big shout out: 13 total tackles 11 of which were solo, and 3 of which were TFLs. Plus 1 sack. Good job young man.
Winning league games at home are a must to achieve enough wins for a bowl game.This game was similar to Nebraska where both teams were having difficulty scoring in the second half.
At the very least it makes it much more enjoyable to watch the remaining season trying to make a bowl game than being at four- five and losing 5 in a row and getting more demoralized
Ucla shows they are not bad, USC has tons of talent and is letting every fourth-quarter game, etc. this is a tough conference and the idea that we should be beating Nebraska Nebraska and USC at USC is a little bit much
Kyle being out obviously hurts us. On the other hand, the Gophers didn't know how we would attack them early. Thank goodness Benjamin was able go return today to help spell Raymond.
The backs today did a great job from what they needed to do. Athan was able to get comfortable passing and we hit some big plays downfield. Hopefully we see a more balanced offense the rest of the season.
