FB Recruiting Northeast Spotlight: Four commitment predictions

Login to view embedded media While the confidence is pretty high in my prediction for Coke, I would say my current pick for Gildea is less so, but more based on a gut feeling as of right now. He will be back at Rutgers this weekend — a program that has offered and one that he's already visited multiple times. This Saturday will mark at least Gildea's fourth trip to Piscataway.

Gildea plays his prep ball nearby at The Hun School of Princeton in New Jersey, and the Scarlet Knights and head coach Greg Schiano certainly want to keep the top talent in the state home. Gildea also recently told Rivals that Rutgers was one of the top schools for him as of right now.

He has additional offers from Boston College, Pittsburgh, South Florida, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. He also took visits this fall to Michigan and Michigan State. More schools are likely to get involved as his recruitment progresses, and again, things can always change, but I expect Rutgers to remain toward the top of the list throughout.

Prediction: Rutgers

OTC: Watching Rutgers games abroad

I will be traveling abroad next week for my annual medical mission, but its longer than usual, I have the xfinity app but its limited and does not get B10 abroad. I am not smart technically. I was told to get a "VPN" -surfshark, and then I can get all the channels I want through my xfinity app and not miss a Rutgers game. Does anyone have advice for me? I will be in the jungles of India, watching Rutgers games is more important to me than getting malaria, TB or dengue.😀

Church of Chop Saturday Sermon - RU v Wisconsin

Let us all pray as we prepare for the Church of Chop as our Lord and Savior Greg Schiano and his Knights take on the Badgers of Wisconsin. After a hard fought road battle, Our Knights return to the Ancient and Blessed Waters of the Raritan to face another B1G feral foe. We continue our quest for a bowl and our Holy Crusade for Glory… and we shall have no fear.

Let Monangai the Mighty vex and vanquish their vicious varmints. Let Brown the Butcher rip through their rabid rodent claws. Let Dixon the Destroyer crush and cripple their cheese-filled chompers. Let Brother Powell, the Merchant of Pain, pummel and pluck their pathetic pelts. And let the Loaded Leg of Pistol Patel fire the pigskin through the Holy Uprights.

And let us not forget the one and only commandment… “THOU. SHALT. CHOP!”

Football Wisconsin Team Preview... How Rutgers Can Defeat The Badgers

Let's break down Wisconsin and see where Rutgers matches up against the Badgers. There’s one key matchup that Rutgers has to exploit to win this one…

OT: Shane Beamer

Got to give Shane Beamer credit. His LB came in and told him he is red shirting. SB told him that's not how it works, player didnt agree and Shane Beamer told him to take a hike

Schools invest alot in players to play football or any sport. You dont want to play, you lose your schollie, your NIL and if you cant pay for classes you are no longer a student.

PJ Fleck or Greg F.A.M.I.L.Y

My school had a magician/entertainer talk to our kids. Kids enjoyed him. Long story short Tom Pesce puts up a picture of himself with PJ Fleck. Says the picture was taken a few years ago then says he is putting a word up on the screen that he learned from PJ……..F.A.M.I.L.Y. And he explains what each letter stands for. Now I am not the brightest of the bunch as my wife and some of have pointed out to me😎. I am sure there is a story to it but did PJ or Greg start using “Family” first? Thanks

OT: Northern Lights! Take a look outside on Thursday, 10/10.

In the Hudson Valley, aurora borealis have been consistently visible since sunset. I understand that it's a bit north of New Jersey. But, my brother in the Poconos is also seeing them at a similar latitude. If you have a moment, it might be worth taking a look outside, primarily to the north but extending both due east and west. There's supposed to be a good chance of seeing them throughout the night as far south as the Deep South. Obviously, you'll have a better chance of seeing them in areas with minimal light pollution. Your cell phone will likely be able to capture better images than you can actually see. Good luck.
