Football RFootball secures commitment from RedZone's Scott Hanson

It didn't take Rutgers much to get Hanson to help out, but didn't want to discuss details. Nonetheless, the intros from Hanson were neat. I just reached out to Hanson's team for comment since I know many of you asked.

FB Recruiting Rutgers hosted a transfer portal LB this weekend.....

When Rutgers Football hosted 2023 athlete (WR/DB) Jesse Ofurie this weekend, he was accompanied for his brother Sam Ofurie who is a linebacker that is currently in the transfer portal out of North Carolina A&T. Now this may be nothing, but it could also be something to keep an eye on.

Ofurie was a class of 2021 recruit out of IMG Academy who earned some early offers from the likes of Marshall, UMass, Michigan and Syracuse, but in the end he ended up with North Carolina A&T on January 1st, 2021. Now after playing in four games over two seasons with the Aggies, Ofurie decided to enter the portal on December 2nd with three years of eligibility left. Again this might be nothing, but something to watch with signing day coming very soon.

10 Years Cancer Free

Today marks 10 years since the end of Tyler's last chemo cycle. When I count my blessings this tops the list. Today he's a healthy sophomore in college working his way towards an aerospace engineering degree. I'm currently down in VA visiting him: now that his finals are finished we'll be heading back up to NJ tomorrow to celebrate Christmas. Happy Holidays to all and God Bless!

St. Pete's Rooks in the portal

Michigan DT, played some 3 technique for them, rose to 2nd string this year behind another NFL player's son in Jenkins. Would be a great addition as a DE similar to Lewis, much heavier than our Jack players like Bailey and you can slide him down in passing downs to rush the interior next to Lewis. Probably not an NIL hog either, I mean, his old man had a ton of NFL years, would think hard up living is not the top of his mind as much as exposure and being in the right position (I don't know that answer, just using some logic), which for him is probably DE, not DT.

OC name to watch- Kevin Patullo

Kevin Patullo.....AGE 41.....NJ native, from nearby Hillsborough NJ (10 minutes from campus).

Currently the Passing Game Coordinator with the Philadelphia Eagles. Why would a current NFL Assistant Coach, take a college OC job.....?? Location and family would REALLY endorse being back in Central Jersey.

Is he affordable is the next question??? YES, he's not getting paid a ton by the Eagles and would get a good bump here. He has a college and mostly NFL resume with friends like former Passing Game Coordinator, Shane Waldron with Sean McVay......Waldron is now in Year 2 of the Seahawks under Pete Carroll.... Waldron is credited with remaking the Seahawks offense and has former Jets QB and current Seahawks QB, Geno Smith, in the Comeback Player of the Year discussions.

Patullo is the right hand man of Eagles HC Nick Sirianni. Sirriani was going to turn over the HC position before a game, late last year, due to Covid. I will link his Press Conference with the Eagles media last December of 2021.

He was on the radar for the Bears OC position, to coach Justin Fields, BUT I have "heard through verified sources I know", that the family didn't want to keep moving, after a bunch of stops, most recently Indianapolis, to Philly and again to Chicago.

I am told he would be very interested in the RU job, based on Location, pay, exposure and opportunity. He has enough of a resume that he could land back in the NFL anyway, since his network is strong enough, so this RU job, would not damage his resume or reputation.

This is the type of hire Schiano should be all over and he would be worth the wait. He is credited with the amount of improvements seen with Jalen Hurts and the spread offense concepts the Eagles run.
