When they're slumping, the only way for them to get out of it is to keep on shooting. Cam will improve, but look at the confidence that Simpson has in his game. Totally took it over and gave us the spark we needed to get to the end.

I know this is the age of position-less basketball but Simpson is clearly a 2 on this team at this point in time.

1. It takes Pike a few games against good to figure out rotations. This is why we’d benefit from some non cupcake games and tourneys.

2. Cliff, Mag, Paul, Caleb and Derek is a pretty damn good lineup especially defensively.

3. Pike gets the maximum out of his players. We definitely do more with less according to star rankings.

4. We should make sure Jersey Mike’s knows it better not mess up the the RAC home court advantage. Otherwise a lot of us will be pissed off.

5. This team is our best defensive team. It has more players that can score in double digits, but no one yet we can rely on to score 25+. Cliff, Derek and Caleb are the most likely.

5. Pike seems to always have good game plans.

6. As always we play off emotion and energy. Need to learn how to generate our own on the road.

Guy is a phenomenal big man on D to have coming off bench.

Great, great win, and it was all about the defense! To hold Indiana to 48 points is mind-blowing. As long as they can play defense like that, especially on the road, we'll be in good shape. Other points:

1) End game line-up was Paul, Caleb, Derek, Mag, and Cliff. They earned coach's trust to finish out the game. I'm not ready to write off Cam just yet, but he's going to have to fight Derek for minutes.

2) Caleb was great, Cliff had some key stops on D in the last few minutes, Paul was Paul and hit some important shots, Mag play well, and Hyatt did some good things also. Even Dean had some good minutes in relief of Cliff. Obviously Derek had a great 2nd half and without his scoring and IU's horrible FT shooting, it's a nail biter at the end.

3) Hey, we're in first place with Maryland! Let's see if we can keep it up on the road against OSU.
