What was just approved for $115 million dollars? Is that facility all these donations are for?

The Athletic Department was just approved to build the new Basketball/Gymnastics/Wrestling practice facility. According to an NJ.com article, we are going to have to issue bonds to fund some of the difference between current fund raising and the total cost of the new construction. Rutgers also still needs to raise money to pay for the new Soccer/Lacrosse facility on Busch. These donations will go towards both efforts.

I have gifted to the B1G Build a few times before. I called the office at 2:40pm and made a new pledge of $2,500 for 5 years using appreciated stock. They said it will be matched because it is a new donation or pledge. It may only be the first $2,500 that is matched.

Just donated now under my name our other donations are in my wife's name as our tickets are under her name. Unfortunately she controls my fate when it comes to RU football and wrestling. Good thing she's a huge fan of both.:)

Can someone please explain this to me again .. the way I understand it is if we get up to $100k in new donations, then both the Garuttis and the Towers would match whatever is raised. So is the $182k the total new donations, thus meaning that each of the donors is matching the first 100k and so we raised 382k? OR, is that $182k the grand total with the matching factored in, and thus we raised 182/3 = 60k out of a possible 100k .. I don't understand

$182k is being matched so Rutgers gets $364. The final final number raised will be announced today after they do a final tally. There is sometimes a lag in the online donations appearing. I would not be surprised if we made it all the way to the $200,000 mark
