3 point shooter for next season?

Are 3-point shooters "born or developed"? I don't watch High School basketball, so I am not sure how players like Shoni Schimmel developed their 3-point game? If some of our RU women began practicing the 3-point shot today, would we have a reliable 3-point shooter by November 2016?

Well, I know of at least one player who developed her 3-point shot just this year after only attempting a couple (and not making any) last year -- Kahleah Copper. So it can be developed. It's probably a combination of things, one of which is definitely putting in the time and practice.
