FYI - after today’s results, we are in 9th in the Big Ten standings (tied with USC). Top-half of the conference. Still a long way to go, but it puts things in perspective. A week ago people were saying we were gonna finish dead last. 7 days later we’re top half. PS - the top 9 not only make the BTT (another concern on here), but we’re actually in a spot to get a bye! Imagine that. Long season in this conference, in case you havent been paying attention the last 10 years.

they are a team that a Rutgers team with 2 nba players and are healthy are expected to beat if they want to build a tourney resume

there is a reason their NET resides in the 130s

the game was a horror show on defense and RU time and time again played some of the worst defense I have ever witnessed.

BTT unfortunately doesn’t hold any weight in the committee’s discussions based on past evidence. need to go at least 6-2, more likely need to be 7-1

Princeton is good

They are one of the best teams I’ve seen live at the college level. That kid Lee was unbelievable. Unguardable and always made the right decision.

7-1 would get us to 12-8. It would probably be good enough to get in but maybe not.

On the auto bid side, historically in the BIG that's #4 seed territory. If we were to go to 7-1 (again quite unlikely) we might then have the double bye courtesy of being the #4. But even then it would STILL be a tough road (maybe something like a #5 UCLA, a #1 Purdue, and a #2 MSU) to get the auto bid.

Finishing as the #5 (which would be sort of amazing given the ups and downs this year) is the exact same path as above except you have an additional game - maybe against an Illinois, or an OSU or whomever.

Any way you slice it - we need a lot of magic. But until we are out we aren't out.
