That’s unfortunate.

With the NCAA allowing teams to add a 4th coach, hopefully we secure a big man coach who has AA credentials. We have the opportunity to hire a coach who can help our big men. We have a number of really good upper weights and a big man coach will help these kids become All Americans.

We absolutely MUST secure a big man coach. Period.

Don’t know why everyone keeps harping on the heavyweight coach when every wrestler on the team openly defends him, he has connections to the recruits, and our upperweights have been pretty decent.

The hole on the roster in terms of both recruiting, development, and performance the last few years has been at the middle weights. Andy Clark is really the only guy who has outperformed expectations and as good as he’s wrestled, he’s not really someone you’re penciling in to be a potential placer at the big 10s.
