As great and historic a first half ACE had with 24 points on 9-10 shooting , Aaron Breitman has tweeted out a great stat. In the last 6 games ACE is 26-29 from the line for 89.6%.
Before that he was 28-51 for 55%.
Huge improvement and probably our best foul shooter now.
His overall game offensively , defensively , rebounding , shot blocking and assisting has gone to the level of the top pick or top 2-3 pick in the draft. We are lucky to have him and watch his greatness . He will be repping Rutgers for years to come.

He has really started rounding out his game. Rebounding, getting into it more defensively and he's passing a lot more we just don't have finishers. He is definitely showing his ability its pretty fun to watch, more fun when we win.

Foul shooting has been a on/off problem for Rutgers this season.Bailey and Somerville have been the most consistent. In very close games the team that makes the foul shots will win the game.

19 games played,
First 6 games, 16-20 80%
Next 7 games, 12-31 38.7% (SHU 1-8, Ind 3-8, Wisc 2-6, 6-22 27.2%)
Last 6 games 26-29 89.6%

On the year, FT 54-80 67.5%
Minus those 3 games, 48-58 82.8%

Wasn't there a pic of him shooting free throws very late after a game where he struggled? Ace seems to want to be great which is the most important thing.

I posted in another thread about this, he put some serious work in on his FTs. Shooting long after games were over.

The happy feet is like the waggle in golf. Keeps you from stiffening up and thinking too hard.
