Anybody going to watch 'that game' tomorrow night?

What the hell do you watch? If I give my wife 3 or 4 hours of nonsense TV every week, I get of watch college football all day every Saturday, every Thursday and Friday night game, and most Tuesday and wed night MAC games. Plus every bowl game uninterrupted
You're lucky (as is she) that you're both reasonable and willing to compromise. My ex-wife and I were pretty compatible, entertainment-wise so I guess we were lucky in that way, at least.

My last girlfriend, OTOH, was into obsessive-compulsive channel surfing between all the latest reality TV oriented shows, particularly the "talent" type ones (e.g. "dancing with the stars"). I could barely stand to be in the same room when those were on. And she totally hated sports. We pretty much watched what she wanted 100% of the time. My iPad got a real workout during that relationship.

She had other fine qualities though, which is probably more than she could say about me. LOL

doesn't everyone have more than one tv by now, I never understood men who let their wives force them to sit with them and watch something

Well, this particular girlfriend was very physical and touchy-feely. If we were watching TV, she was typically in my lap or otherwise cuddled up to me. And she smelled great. And she didn't believe in wearing much in the way of clothing or undergarments (not even in public). Yoga pants and a tank top (and nothing else) were her typical TV watching attire (and sometimes her local pub attire, as @RU848789 could attest to).

So yeah, she didn't exactly have to force me to sit with her, you know? I'm not exactly an easy person to "force" into doing just about anything. OTOH, I am pretty tolerant these days. :)

Wait, you have RU84 wearing yoga clothes? I'm confused. The sheep must have been too.

oh I get it, did she get placed with you when the Super Bowl came to Met Life a couple years back

You are confused. lol

#s can attest to her fondness for skimpy attire because he's observed it at our local Pub. The night he DJ'd there, for example, she wore black yoga pants and a thin white tank top and nothing else. Lots of dancing. That was a really good night. :)

I would love to watch the whole game, but an 8:30 PM start is too late for me,
Will probably watch the first half and fall asleep during halftime.

Roll Tide!!

I don't want ANY ACC team winning the football championship.

Generally, I like Clem's son but want Bama to win just so the ACC doesn't get the title. Still think we would have been more competitive there, although the $$$ and academic prestige are higher in the B1G.

I generally do not watch college football if Rutgers not involved. Maybe a random bowl game during the holiday break or B1G game in season.

I plan to watch the start of the game at least. Whether or not I watch it end depends on how good the game is. I am rooting against Alabama more than for Clemson because I am more sick of the SEC talk than I am bothered by an ACC team possibly winning the title.

Do a Google
Okay, I did and I guess I get it now, more or less. Given my habit of posting about hookers and blow, I can see where the joke is even funnier. But no, she is not a hooker. More like she has a phenomenal body and, in a weirdly conflicted way that some women seem to have, she likes to show it off.

The conflict being that she claims to be tired of guys checking her out and/or hitting on her all the time. I tried, once or twice, to explain that not wearing underwear while wearing things like yoga pants and tank tops is not the way to get guys to ignore you. But apparently that logic wasn't satisfactory. lol

People just don't seem that interested in the CFP Championship Game this year. The semi-finals were a complete bust, being shown on a night nobody GAF about college football, and the games were blowouts to boot. Killed any possibility of momentum or buzz. With the crazy NFL Wildcard Weekend that just passed, nobody in an NFL town even knows the Natty is up for grabs tonight.

I'm very interested in watching the game. Heck I've waited two weeks to watch this game. At the beginning of every season coaches and players a like dream of playing in the national championship game. Both teams bring a standard of athletic excellence and epitomize how college football should be played. This game is going to be a tough physical game which is why the spread stayed steady at 7 points.

Alabama (-7) vs. Clemson

That clip brings back fond memories of Sam Kinison. Here's a slightly longer clip w/more context.

Was lucky enough to have seen Sam at Catch A Rising Star in early 1985, a few months before he broke into the big time. Had never heard of him, but my GF at the time and I absolutely howled with laughter and cowered with fear (we were right up front), sometimes at the same time - the man was a force, lol.
