Oh, they're not good. With their schedules it's simply a chance to get together, play, have a couple beers, and bust balls. They should check out the Shore Winter Golf League, now in it 64th year! From what I hear there are different division competing. Like local pros and assistants, ranked amateurs and just regular golfers. Can't say what it cost these days but they play on very good courses.
That’s golf for must of us.Oh, they're not good. With their schedules it's simply a chance to get together, play, have a couple beers, and bust balls.
No, lol.Rory was playing a different game today. Can he breakthrough on the majors? So close so many times.
The best player to not win it again in a long time title? No, lol.
Waste Management is this week Bus. Genesis is next wee. Biggest names in field are Scheffler, Matsuyama, Spieth, Thomas, and Homa.It was a great final round for Rory. Shots a 5 under 31 on the back nine including an eagle on 14.
Back to Torrey Pines. Weather looks great. Low 60s winds reasonable around 10mph for all 4 days.
How about that shot on 18 he pulled of yesterday from between 2 tree roots?Talked about this yesterday. Cam Davis's crazy birdie!
Thanks. Should have figured that out. Always Super Bowl Week for many years. Bonus they have much better weather high 70s to 80. No wind to speak of. Sunny!Waste Management is this week Bus. Genesis is next wee. Biggest names in field are Scheffler, Matsuyama, Spieth, Thomas, and Homa.
Oh yeah, and Chris Gotterup. Go RU and Jersey Shore!

Winner's bag: Rory McIlroy ‘stumbled upon’ winning ball change at AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am - PGA TOUR
In his first start of the season on the PGA TOUR, Rory McIlroy ran away from the field on the final nine at Pebble Beach Golf Links to capture his 27th victorywww.pgatour.com
Always thought it was the shoes or the club. Someone is going to get a bonus check from TM.
My pro v1s are defective. They never find the fairway and are attracted to water.Ball has always been the biggest game changer on tour.
I read that article over the weekend as well. I would not be surprised to see more TaylorMade pros switch to the regular TP5 after Rory's weekend. In regards to ProV1's, for us hacks, I was reading a similar article that their specs have kind of switched as well over the past few years. As a result most of us may be better playing the X version. I kind of noticed that after the pro that fit me into my irons made the same observation. I tried the Mizuno ball and the X version was better for me as well.My pro v1s are defective. They never find the fairway and are attracted to water.
A lot easier than Riviera.Tiger will play his tournament. Don’t know Torrey. Is it easy to walk?
Guess it’s still too difficult of a walk. Tiger withdraws for his tournamentA lot easier than Riviera.
He withdrew because his mom died.Guess it’s still too difficult of a walk. Tiger withdraws for his tournament
Genesis? Golf season starts on April 10th.Genesis with an exciting leader board. Scheffler is back? Is this Rory’s year? Aberg showing the “old” guys how it’s done? Or, a no name guy says excuse me gents.
Aberg with the ace! Best leaderboard this year!Genesis with an exciting leader board. Scheffler is back? Is this Rory’s year? Aberg showing the “old” guys how it’s done? Or, a no name guy says excuse me gents.
We sure put the TKR jinx on the field!!🤣Genesis with an exciting leader board. Scheffler is back? Is this Rory’s year? Aberg showing the “old” guys how it’s done? Or, a no name guy says excuse me gents.
It was surprisingly bad for a lot of the big names. Interestingly, a lot of football name guys in it.Wow, Rodgers just let a ton of players back in this!
We sure put the TKR jinx on the field!!🤣
It’s in Mexico. This is an outreach event. This tournament is definitely underwhelming. Not a name player at all. This is what needs to change with the PGA. Players forced to play in all the signature events and it the Korn Ferry Tour when it's not a signature event.
Add in Chris Gotterup missed the cut!
It doesn't matter where it is. None of these events have big names, just a bunch of nobody's.It’s in Mexico. This is an outreach event.
Where it is is the reason no big names are in it. I think it’s a great opportunity for some of the players and good for the game by getting exposure in Mexico. It doesn't matter where it is. None of these events have big names, just a bunch of nobody's.
He's going to keep missing the weekend if he doesn't somehow get his Driver under control. Missed 16 of 26 Fairways. He had 3 Penalties and in Round 1 he missed the Green by 60 yards on the Par 4 297yd 7th, Damned if he still didn't Birdie it. I can't imagine anyone on Tour has more drives that end up somewhere called "Unknown" by TourcastThis tournament is definitely underwhelming. Not a name player at all. Its location has nothing to do with why the top players are passing on this Tournament. It's money! It has one of the lowest purses on the Tour. Just $7 million! Compared to all signature events are at $20 million.Where it is is the reason no big names are in it. I think it’s a great opportunity for some of the players and good for the game by getting exposure in Mexico.
This week won't be much better. After that comes Arnie's Bay Hill, a signature event which should have a good field.Seeing a guy win his first tournament is nice on Sunday but makes for a boring tournament overall with no big names in contention.
This week isn't terrible. Spieth, Lowry, Rickie and other known names, certainly not the Korn Ferry Tour of this past weekend. This week won't be much better. After that comes Arnie's Bay Hill, a signature event which should have a good field.
Local interest with Gotterup, Greyserman, and possibly Pak.This week isn't terrible. Spieth, Lowry, Rickie and other known names, certainly not the Korn Ferry Tour of this past weekend.
Plus the PGA National has the Bear Trap which is always fun to watch.
