I am happy to be in the conference and it is a lot more than where we could have been in an AAC but that deal is crippling us when you are up against michigan and ohio state as opposed to Toledo and uconn...$48 million dollars a year compared to $11 is a huge gap and in 3 years we are a full $100 million behind. That money we arent getting now would is sorely needed

You are right. If you look at just one year,the difference is bad enough. When you look at the full six-year difference,it is huuuuuge !

The hidden good news about this is that the upside for the top-level programs with the additional money is nominal, whereas the money for us is essentially life changing. An infusion of that sort of cash will make noticeable improvements to the facilities and coaches' salaries, and we will become the shiny new program in a fertile recruiting area in the best conference in college football. There is only so much tOSU and Michigan can do with an additional $100mm since they've had that kind of money for decades. We will make significant upgrades, and that will get noticed.
