Like many young and new coaches at a new coaching stop, the promise of a new direction for a program can generate recruiting enthusiasm and commitments. Whether early recruiting success can be sustained (see early Schiano years) is largely dependent on the game day results.
Impossible to say after one game but it is obviously the biggest consideration for this awefully inexperienced staff. Most of these guys don't have P5 experience at their current coaching position. Beating Washington on the road was going to be difficult but RU didn't even look like they belonged on the field; in all three phases of the game. That alone is on the coaching staff.

We know Ash and staff can sell the big picture but less than 5 wins and blowout losses might lead to a Class of 14 scenario.

Hopefully we can get better offense integration in the next two games that result in two big blowout wins.
