Best season of the Pike era?

I know it might be hard to say right now but IMO in aggregate this is the best year we’ve see under Pike so far. Already have wins over Purdue etc., the late season run, and chances to go through ND and Alabama. At the very least, it’s been the most dramatic.

2019-2020 was probably a more cohesive team and 2020-2021 was a little more consistent but this team really has something going for it. So glad they made it.

It was the most fun. Purdue and Maryland of 2020 were great, but Purdue #1, Illinois game, Penn State senior day, and Indiana Senior day at Assembly Hall buzzer beater were all ridiculously enjoyable wins. These last couple months have been so fun

Ultimately, it will be compared to.lsst season based on the tournament. Lose Wednesday, and it is clear last year was better (minutes from the Sweet 16). This season has had the higher highs and lower lows.

Fun is probably the right way to put it. Last year it felt like they were going through the motions. I did really enjoy watching the prior year’s group
