Aragona rides out the first period on top, maintaining a 2-0 lead. He accumulated 2:42 of RT.

Aragona going neutral to start the second period
 
Aragona goes right into a cradle off of his shot, but cannot find any back points. Nonetheless, it extends his lead to four, as the second period expires.

Aragona will be on defense to start the third, with RT secured.
 
I stand corrected, Aragona did get backs. He’s back in on a take down in the third, making it 11-0
 
Rutgers has no more wrestlers competing this session. Action will resume at 6:30 this evening

Do they ever use common sense for mat assignments?
Ru has 3 wrestlers on 3 different mats.....

I know, they can't do it with all the teams...just frustrating
 
10 minutes from opening whistle for session number two.

Nic Aguilar will be the first bout on mat 4
 
Session number two is officially underway!

As mentioned before, Nic Aguilar will lead the way for Rutgers. If Aguilar wins, he will clinch an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

Cronin able to get one more before the period ends. 6-2, Cronin.

Aguilar will start the second period on top
 
Aguilar lets Cronin loose, then attempts a takedown. Refs say no 2, but Goodale throws the challenge brick. Score is currently 7-2, Cronin
 
Rutgers wins the challenge, two for Aguilar. Score is now 7-4, Cronin, with 1:35 left in the second period.
 
No other action the rest of the way. Aguilar trails Cronin 8-4, and will start the third period on defense.
 
Aguilar out again for another escape, but, again, Cronin takes him down to make it 12-6
 
Aguilar escapes, but that won’t be enough. He’s downed 13-7 by Cronin
 
Alvarez down 1-0 after the second period against Kayden Rooks.

Riding time is not a factor, and Alvarez will start the third period on defense
