He's not going to stay at YSU and is waiting for his chance for a team to offer him at the end of this year.

Why not? He's proven he can recruit, win big games, and has developed NFL players

Wouldn't mind him except he's controversial and doesn't seem to get along with people. Probably not the best fit for our already dysfunctional group.

Isn't the reason he was let go by Nebraska because he did not win any big games? Much easier to win at Nebraska than RU, not sure how good a coach he is.

How much did he make at Neb? What is he making now? What does he want and what are we willing to pay?

He would be a change in temperament from Coach Flood.

If I was lookin for a Coach at RU How could you pass up a coach with those #'s.

I know who else is salivating for RU to hire him... NJ.com

They would have a field day.

Seriously, get me Schiano and call it a day. I could live with a strict house, good recruiting, and solid bowl seasons for a while.

He has a win at all costs attitude and might accept marginal students into the program based solely on their ability to help win games. That would cause a big uproar among some of our older alums and supporters who only want us to recruit "Rutgers men", whatever that means.

We can't let the media dictate who we hire. If we do, I'm completely done supporting my alma mater. What a joke.

Pelini never won less than 9 games as a head coach and was the defensive coordinator for a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP team. His college resume runs circles around Schiano's. Honestly I don't think either are coming here, and people are entitled to express their preferences, but enough of this PC garbage. Good football coaches aren't usually great guys who you want to go have a beer with. They are moody, sullen, and downright unfriendly SOB's. Also, I'm willing to bet the odds Pelini learned more from his firing at Nebraska and would be better handling the media this time around at his next job are better than Schiano's ego allowing him to hire a big name offensive coordinator and handling him complete control of the O. But again, I don't think either are coming here so I'm not wasting any more time discussing them.

Bo is a f'n stud. Proven winner. Would tell Politi to shove it up his a$$ and everyone would have his back because, again, his a f'n winner.

The guys who wanted that hack Diacio now want Rhule. Sit down.

GET BO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Looks like Rhule is now the flavor of the month. Just like ND's Diacco, MSU's Narduzzi, Temple's/BC's Addazio, WMU's Fleck, FIU's Christobal...

How many of those guys would you take now at HC?
I'd take Addazio in a heartbeat, but otherwise you make a great point.

Pass on Pellini. Doesn't win big enough for the bad press he brings with him wherever he goes.

Honestly out of all those guys, Schiano brings more to the table. I'm weary of Pelini due to all his off the field issues (on the field he's great). We don't need to hire a HC and then have him go through the "Julie Hermann treatment" with the media and Rutgers administration... Once was enough.
