We can't let the media dictate who we hire. If we do, I'm completely done supporting my alma mater. What a joke.
Pelini never won less than 9 games as a head coach and was the defensive coordinator for a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP team. His college resume runs circles around Schiano's. Honestly I don't think either are coming here, and people are entitled to express their preferences, but enough of this PC garbage. Good football coaches aren't usually great guys who you want to go have a beer with. They are moody, sullen, and downright unfriendly SOB's. Also, I'm willing to bet the odds Pelini learned more from his firing at Nebraska and would be better handling the media this time around at his next job are better than Schiano's ego allowing him to hire a big name offensive coordinator and handling him complete control of the O. But again, I don't think either are coming here so I'm not wasting any more time discussing them.
