His health had absolutely nothing to do with his decision to not coach this year.

I'm afraid we are going to find out in short order that he was basically our de facto HC last year anyway. I hope he comes back to us in our time of need but I doubt it.

Fridge is a great coach and a great man but his health would prevent him from coaching even three games. Remember coaching gave urban Meyer a heart attack at florida.
