One day we will look back at the way our society handles politics and realize that human populations have been extremely gullible and naive since the beginning of time. Petty arguments like this are really about ones ego and loyalty to a particular political party. It would seem like we don't have an excuse now in days because we have Access to education and an abundance of information. Politicians don't do anything but lie but if you think for yourself and form opinions based in your general knowledge, the world would be less chaotic..
If everyone had a basic understanding of the way the global economy, your immune system, viruses and specifically corona viruses work we could stop all of this bickering.....No, people with strong immune systems don't need the vaccine....yes, the vaccine exposes your body to substances that some can have an adverse reaction to. Covid vaccine hasn't been around as long as others but some people have even had deadly reactions to some of the vaccines on the market. Many peoples immune systems are not strong enough to fight covid, whether because of an underlying condition or their overall way of living. These people were and are still terribly effected by covid, many passed away.
As an unknown virus began taking people out, we have to realize that the disease is new to everyone. You want to live in fantasy, conspiracy land and say that someone introduced the virus to the world purposefully, even then, there is no way they can tell that many people about a global conspiracy of such large scale and keep it a secret.. It was unknown to everyone and people fear the unknown.. Doesn't help the way social media and the traditional media use fear to keep people engaged and watching..leading to people not wanting to leave the house, lockdowns. Maybe you and I were not afraid and willing to go out but we do not represent the entire population. I have older people, even some younger people in my family or that I know; still afraid to be out amongst a crowd with a mask. Everyone is different, with so many people willing to miss work, the economy is crippled. This is why lock downs are instituted because the economy would be hamstrung anyway so might as well lock it all down to give those people a sense that we are trying something. Not to mention the way viruses work, the less large groups of people the better as far as stopping the spread. And as I said, people were afraid so it seemed like the logical thing to do.
However, this still leaves a large amount of fear in everyone's heart. You need something that will have people feeling protected and safe to be out and about. Most importantly, get back to work and keep this economy running so we can all make easy money on the markets. Enter the vaccine, not only do you get people back to work but I believe there are 4 or 5 different vaccines, idk how many people made and are making generational wealth being invested in these various companies pushing out vaccines.
Again, some people actually need and benefit from the corona vaccine. But one of the unique traits of corona viruses, like the flu, is that they are constantly mutating. For me I'm always strengthening and supporting my immune system through my diet and supplements to protect myself from any type of infection. Covid vaccines protect you from one particular strain. Which is why people have to continuously expose themselves to the vaccine.
If people were more conscious of personal health, diet, exercise etc. maybe this big of a manipulation wouldn't be needed just to get people to feel safe enough to sell TVs at Best buy or figure out ways to advertise their boss's product to the next generation of suckers..But people are eating cheese dogs and bacon cheeseburgers with extra bacon, haven't eaten a fruit in months, only vegetables they have are French fries and move their bowels only three times a week. Immune system can't fight off a sniffle let alone corona so we get Dr faucci coming on TV speaking to us like a kindergarten class so we all take our medicine..it is what it is, an educated population is the answer not these political debates. They are all just entertainment and a way for people to try and assert their intellectual superiority.

I didn't really read through the thread..lol just saw the arguing and thought it was funny. This is my 2 cents on the covid situation.. However I don't think anyone should be forced to get the vaccine to work or go to school at this point in the pandemic..
