Pike talks about the offense the newcomers will bring but the big hope is that they embrace the defense/rebounding culture that’s been established. With the newcomers getting plenty of minutes, hopefully the techniques are learned rather quickly. How well they play D will equate to minutes played.

The culture of defense and rebounding... effort, essentially, is the only way we're going to overcome history/rankings, etc.

I could be wrong as there are many paths......I believe the "way out" is to know exactly your standing in the college basketball landscape and recruit players who will embrace defense, rebounding, effort, and being good teammates. Have to stay disciplined.

This roster will be better in January 2020 than early November 2019.....that's how last year played out....I see the same thing happening this year as well.
