Carroo is supposedly lighting up Senior Bowl practices. The CBs probably still think he's 6'1"
I thought he was bigger than that, but you know, if I was looking for a receiver, he'd be pretty damn near the top of my list anyway.
All I know is that there's a team that has been talked about recently for their lack of quality skill position players, and their coach knows a thing or two about Rutgers football and the quality of the men that come out of our program
a FEW inches? Let's see. 6'1" minus 5' 11 7/8" equals 1 1/8" How do you reach a FEW from 1' and 1/8" ?
His measurables will affect his draft standing but there is no one perfect model. You have the Beckhams and TY Hiltons. You also have the Megatrons and Dez Bryants. I personally think he will run well at the combine. I remember him being a burner at WR and returning kicks at DBP. Not sure why he isn't considered a burner now. He frequently blew by CBs at key moments in games. I think he is looking at a very bright career. Reports are that he is having some great practices He will have to answer questions about the suspension but someone is going to fall in love with this kid. What round that will be is unknown, but I think he will move up as the draft approaches.

Hope Carroo can work out in the combine. Hope Tajae is okay too, he's a super kid from Piscataway that would have helped us at WR. Wish the best for both.
He plays like a very fast Anquan Boldin. He was unstoppable at times in the NFL with Warner throwing him strikes. Boldin is listed at 6'1" and has the physicality that Carroo brings to the table. But Leonte can also blow right past quality CB's. I would be shocked if he does not excel at the next level.
What NFL teams should care about is whether or not he can get open and catch the ball. He seems to be pretty good at that. Odell Beckham is 5-11. How'd he turn out?
The most important measurable for these guys is 40 time. If he runs a better than expected 40 time nobody will care about his height.
