Using her words, she said she tried to press charges but was " rebuffed."
Which story does that quote appear in?
Using her words, she said she tried to press charges but was " rebuffed."
Also, people leave an incident agreeing that both sides are not pressing charges because they were both culpable ...but one side decides to press charges later...the other side follows suit and does the same.
Exactly, treated for NOTHING and released the same night because no injuries unless you consider a scratch a major injury. If she was injured she would have spent the night for observation and healing.
Hmm. OP joins today, just to post this.
Certainly there's no agenda, here.
This is a cross-complaint. It's a standard defense strategy. Even if it's completely fictitious, anybody could see it coming from a mile away.
The only interesting piece of information in the article is that it's finally been revealed for the record that there were two separate incidents, several minutes apart.
Positioning, jockeying and justifying has begun. Popcorn time folks.
Bwahaha you will be on the anti Caroo team till the bitter end. Hilarious.
You should stop being retarded long enough to realize - and admit - that I have NEVER "insisted Carroo was guilty".
The only thing I've done for the last two weeks is:
1. Post information as it was presented to me by people not on this board.
2. Correct the mistakes of others with respect to information that is already on the record (see previous post).

Your posts here have been plentiful and you are free to think that. I'll let others decide what that saw and interpreted. Please carry on though, it is all very amusing to those who haven't taken sides.
With all due respect, your post shows complete ignorance about how the criminal process works.
Find one thing I've posted that wasn't or isn't true.
Go ahead. I'll wait.
"With all due respect" ... the phrase that really says, "with no respect at all, imma bout to verbally head-butt you right in the ballsack".
She is a Rutgers hostess AKA I. fuk4fun AKA Moral less tramp
Not getting sucked into this third rate detective I slept at a Holiday Inn and am a lawyer nonsense. Smart people let the facts come out. I'll wait until they do then have an opinion. Don't start waiting now, it's a little too late for that.
I have completely lost track of who did what at this point and since no one seems to be permanently injured, I don't think I care anymore. I just want the nonsense to end and basketball season to start.
Seeing as how he wrote it and didn't say it, it was also a mute point."Moot". Not "mute". I'm callin' @RU848789.
Yeah, but it was a pretty lightweight blow - since he obviously didn't have any material input.
This cross-complaint is a classic legal maneuver. The former Morris County prosecutor interviewed for the NJ.com story stresses that. Any dime store lawyer representing somebody charged after a fight will advise their client to file a cross-complaint.
Her timing seems odd to me.
Her boyfriend was obviously in contact with 2 very respected lawyers, immediately after being arrested. He obviously is talking to her. She obviously comes in his conversations with his counsel. If her request to file charges immediately was "rebuffed," NOBODY will convince me that a follow up attempt to file a complaint was rebuffed once she lawyers up--until today
You shouldn't be so down on legal opinions. I'm sure you must have paid for one before you signed the pre-nup your wife handed you, right?
Wait. I'm allowed to have fun?Ummm .. don't most people "fuk4fun".
regardless of what happened that night it's all about changing the narrative and creating pressure on the alleged victim . the alleged victim elected to take her story to the press. her dad followed suit. imo, they should stayed quiet. in any event, she had the press eating out of her hand. heck, she felt so embolden that she actually showed up to court without an attorney present. so, it was time to flip the script. step one was shane showing up at court. the alleged victim didn;t see that coming and she didn't have an attorney with her to advise her what would happen. so it prompted the alleged victim to go outside and start talking again. what did she do? she admitted that she was mounted on top of vega. (absent a prevailing self defense defense, that's assault folks.) step two was releasing the video. sure there are a lot of people who may think that it doesn't show the entire incident(s). yet, there are others who will look at it and see that alleged victim was not an innocent sole who was attacked. she was an aggressor with a group of friends at least in the few seconds that were released. so, with the damage done and nothing more to gain, it was time for step three -- filing the charges today.
filing today was a legal move. it could have been done the day after the incident. but, LC's attorneys likely counseled her (correctly) to stay quiet and see what happens. yes, she was arrested and caught up in the wash, but, in the interim, it looks like LC's attorneys got the alleged victim to give at least 2 (if not 3) different versions of the story. it never would have happened if she was arrested on day two b/c her criminal lawyer never would have let her talk to the press.
So why wait almost two weeks?
This whole case is no longer about presenting facts. It's total legal f*ckery, pure and simple.
As I'm sure you know, most people who encounter an explosively violent situation make very poor witnesses. It takes training and experience to correct that. Which I'm sure she didn't have. It's entirely within the realm of possibility that she thought it was Carroo even if it wasn't.Which leads to a question that has troubled me since this whole thing started getting all discombobulated:
If he never laid a hand on her, why would she claim that he had? If Carro's friend whatshisname was the only person who hit her, then why didn't she just tell the cops that when it happened?

Because the fight was about jealousy over LC. Moreover, she stated that she knew it wasn't Shane due to his smaller size as she stated and will be shoved down her throat in any legal proceeding. Hardly a positive ID.
Let's just call it what it is. They've all lawyered up to divide Leonte's first NFL contract, and it's the lawyer's job to make sure they don't kill the goose that lays the golden eggs.

Does quick search of all of Nichelle Hawkins's Facebook friends ...
Not true. Read my previous post.
The only thing I'm "anti" is you, because you've shown yourself to be in the front of the pack for stupidest person here.
We get it, you like to call people stupid. Find a new joke.
This is what JPhoboken is probably referring to ;Which story does that quote appear in?
