Chris Ash hire gets high marks

and by 'summarize', we mean copy and paste the article...
2. With the silly season as crazy as it is, sometimes a very good hire doesn’t quite get the fanfare that it should. That’s exactly what happened with Chris Ash at Rutgers.

Not only is he widely respected by his peers as one of the best coaches in the country, simply put, he’s one of the best recruiters around and has proven it every step of the way. Ash first emerged on the recruiting map at Iowa State, and the talent he was able to lure to Ames was impressive, especially since the Cyclones didn’t have all the recruiting tools that they do now. He then did an excellent job at Wisconsin, Arkansas and Ohio State before landing the job at Rutgers.

“Recruiting is all about building relationships, and Chris can do that with the best of them,” an ACC head coach told me Wednesday. “Recruits and their families love his passion and charisma. High school coaches like how he can talk Xs and Os without making them feel like they’re being talked down to. He’s sitting on a gold mine of talent in New Jersey, and while it’s going to be tough to keep them all at home, I’m confident he’s going to win a lot of those battles pretty quickly.”

For those of us without ESPN Insider access, could you summarize what it says?

I did not need Insider access to read it.

Plus, I scrolled down and could click on and read the article ranking the 65 P5 teams recruiting advantages.

How did you read it without Insider access? It gives me one paragraph.

This part is worth repeating for the naysayers on this board who questioned his recruiting chops.
