Basketball Cliff Omoruyi to enter Transfer Portal

Such as ? Anyhow, point is given his athleticism he is incomprehensibly bad on O. No hands, no awareness of where he is in relation to the hoop, no awareness of open teammates, no moves, etc. But still good enough to want back for his D.

Hand eye coordination for one. His hands are like bricks. It's why he has trouble rebounding the ball even when he's in decent position. His lack of basketball IQ doesn't allow him to make proper passes to open guys when he does get the ball in the blocks and he gets double teamed. Much of that is on the staff too.

Agreed. Defense is where he is needed. If you had a team of shooters/shashers he would be much more productive on the offensive end getting put back and dunks. Instead of playing grind it out offense a true run and gun system would suit him well. He can run and jump better than most 5's. With player around him who can create pace and space he'd be much more effective.

Spencer was tampered with - his brother was speaking to teams. He didn’t even negotiate with RU.
Spencer just was the new breed of college basketball player (Mercenary)
Going to programs based on what's best for themselves and leaving for a better payday and/or exposure.
I feel Cam left Loyola of Maryland because going to Ruters would give his game more exposure.
Left RU for a better payday and a program that would help his draft status better than playing for Rutgers along with playing for a team that is considered National Championship material.
With the way it's so easy to transfer now as compared to the past and finding NIL paydays , mercenaries are now a big part of the college basketball scene .
Cam Spencer is just one of many that have taken advantage of the way College sports are now

Agree with all of that.
