Not sure why this hasn't been discussed but talk about a tale of two halves; If he has at least a pulse in the first half we win this game easily; He was beyond awful in the first half; 4 TO"s horrible 3 point shot and other shots and Key destroyed him in the first half; Key had 15/8 at the break; Easily cost us 10-15 points in the first half
Of course 2nd half was the good Cliff but like I said above if he has any kind of a first half we win going away

He played very well and it was good to see him come back strong after a relatively low scoring output vs. Indiana

I'm hoping that the second half is him getting over a bump in the road. The way he played made me forget the first half.

You have to judge the whole game. Uneven performances are just part of the game as teams try to contain the best players with various moves and counter-moves. Look no further than Zed Key Last night. He totally carried OSU in the first half and was then barely a factor in the second. I was very happy Cliff and the coaches made adjustments in the second half and Cliff dominated.

Unfortunately, we've seen this before this season, which is concerning. Tip of the cap for bouncing back, but man that first half was awful.

First, never understand fans who complain about a guy having a great second half or sometimes a great first half.

Second, Cliff picked up some really cheap fouls against Indiana and seemed to start out tentative.

Third, Zed was gassed and Cliff is a leaner guy so it’s give and take. Zed muscled him but Cliff outplayed him in second half.

Cliff really still trying to figure it out on offense - major improvement since freshman year. But because of that he will have some ups and downs until he gets ,more polished.
