Think it’s a good opportunity for him to run his own show out from under Harbaugh. I think Harbaugh had a lot of influence on the offense last year. Two years ago I think there was likely internal push pull on how the offense should look and it showed. I don’t think he’ll get as much interference from Cristobal. He can show his stuff and if he does well move up to the HC spot.

Yes, and the weather might be slightly better in Coral Gables compared to Ann Arbor. You probably saw this too:

I’ve seen that and it seems like they’re fishing around for some cause but that’s hard to prove from the admin side and actually not pay. Between him and Malzahn it would be some big number if they had to pay both of them. Players have come out in support of him too, not just against, so it’s both sides.

Too many cooks spoil the broth is what it sounds like at Auburn and part of why other candidates like Venables stayed away in the past.

At least Harsin is not dancing with recruits. That could be real trouble. 🤣

Do you remember that I stated before Auburn played Penn State that Hardin was in over his head? And, I will add, Auburn fans/ admin have a very low tolerance for coaches they dont like, even if they are winning. But especially not if they are losing.

Big Ten Conference. There have been multiple lateral moves (same position title) from Big Ten to ACC this off-season.
IDK if I would paint with such a broad brush. Seems Gattis got some sort of raw deal at Michigan, and working as OC for Harbaugh could be difficult. I've never understood why UM has not developed a truly elite QB like Ohio State has done multiple times over the years.

I'm not keeping score, but Mark Whipple from Pitt to Nebraska is a big dent in that narrative?

What others am I missing who went from B1G to ACC?

There was a DC from Purdue to WF but that guy had worked at WF before IIRC and was also from the area. I don't take any coaching move from one place to another as a sign of anything. It could be money, it could be professional growth (calling your own shots as OC/DC...look at Lashlee from Auburn to UConn in the past to get out from under Malzahn), it could be back to familiar surroundings, it could be anything.

Harbaugh will probably go back to the pay he had before accepting reduction and the buyout he'll have to pay to take another job will be high enough to keep his eyes from wandering .
Jim is making sure he uses the success he had this year to get what he wants and Michigan only can make sure he pays through the nose if he goes.

He's had 2 coordinator changes this year but I think he's got influence on the offense, so we'll see how the new DC does. I'm not convinced he can repeat the same performance especially if OSU's new DC fixes their defense. I have to see it to believe it.
Dumb question-- what is TTUN?

Seen tweets on Twitter about Fran Brown going to Georgia. Lose Tiquan and Fran - these next 5 years of Schiano are gonna drag out 🤦‍♂️

Another assistant leaving Georgia.

Luke is the fourth assistant coach from the 2021 staff to leave Georgia.

Defensive coordinator Dan Lanning left to become Oregon's head coach. Defensive backs coach Jahmile Addae left for the same position at Miami, while receivers coach Cortez Hankton left for the same position at LSU.

assistants come, assistants go, only the fans make an issue of it..
If you lose some assistants to other programs, it could be because the program they were at was looking good and another program wanted a part of that, so poached that assistant.
The assistant that left seeing a better chance to advance his/her career might be the main reason for leaving .
Even being a part of the Bulldogs success might not have gotten the attention needed to advance career as quick as wanted, so paddin resume under another coach and program might help move up the ladder faster than staying put.
