Comcast BTN update

I went into the XFinity store here in central Florida yesterday to return some equipment, and while I was there I of course asked them to re-instate BTN, which, up until the time they discontinued here (about four months ago), I'd had for the prior two years. I already have the Sports and Entertainment Package, as I have FS1 and others, so it was just a matter of them adding BTN to my service. She said I have to wait until this Friday to get BTN--which her co-worker corroborated--as that's when the deal officially goes into effect and service can be resumed.

So even though it's a close call, I'll be on the phone this Friday with Comcast (and am strong enough to call them without first ingesting valium) to have them get me my BTN again. And then I'll figure out if it's even on TV down here or if I have to watch BTN2Go on my laptop, given that RU-Texas State isn't exactly the game that the country has been waiting to see.
There is nothing for you to do to "reinstate BTN". It will be carried as part of the SEP package and they need to make configuration changes in the SEP package in order to get BTN added back in. As long as you have SEP it will get added back in when they make those changes. There is nothing a phone agent or retail agent can do.
