not a hater and wish him the best...THIS is what we've been looking for..under control and to his strengths. NICE game for sure (and last 2)....turning it on. What we need to exceed expectations.

I've frequently been critical of Corey.
But he shut me up big time today. He was absolutely terrific. Just tremendous.

Corey is so much better when he is off the ball. Having a legit player like Baker being able to free him up gives him the floor spacing he needs.
Instead of pounding the dribble at the top of the key for the entire possession he’s allowed to move and receive screens. This opens up his penetration ability. With defenders needing to respect that he now is able to get off his jumper without a defender draped all over him.

IMO If he can play like this consistently there's a future for him on the next level. He has go ALL IN ON EVERY GAME, EVERY PLAY...like he did against the Hall.

I’ve been critical of Corey but if he continues this level of play that he’s been at over the last few games he will sure improve his stock.
Some self-awareness today. You had to notice--certainly the announcers did when they remarked on it that late in the game, he passed it to Baker so Geo could set up the offense. That is kind of new and most welcome for Corey. Enjoyed that almost as much as Corey's big offensive game and his energy.

Stole my thunder a little there. I liked when he called Geo up to the top and gave him the ball. We are so much better that way IMHO.
How much does it play into it that maybe he no longer feels he has to do it all?
Best game by Corey in a loooooooong time. He was the man tonight. Sort of matured in a way. He was able to play under control and he stepped up to the plate to be the man in the critical last RU final possessions. It was obvious that if RU won the game it would be through him and he met that challenge because he believed it. This is the kind of play we hope for Corey every night, people were down on him because we saw 2-13 performances against Bumblebee University and ask why? Hopefully this maturity he shows today carried over. I will give him big props...remember against Minny when things were not going well, he mouthed off and got a T, well today, he persevered through adversity and a 10 point defecit and stayed in control and delivered

Corey was great today. Sure, did he have to try and force a backdoor pass into traffic late in the 2nd half? No.
But coreys got carringtons calling him daddy. That boys his son after today
yeah I saw that stat but didn't recall him getting that many, earlier in game (I think)...B+ 1st half A+ down the stretch...overall A fer sure. (my 2 cents)
His 2nd half was like an A++ IMHO. He hit 2 HUGE shots, back-to-back, that were neither rushed, nor forced, that really helped that rally continue. I can overlook a little sloppiness early in the game. Maybe a very, very solid "A" then if that makes you more comfortable?
I'd give him an A as well. I couldn't give
someone an A+ who had 4 turnovers, but that's me.
Quality win for RU.
