Do season ticket buyers pay for Wisconsin game at MSG?

Do not understand Rutgers participation in this hockey/hoops arrangement at MSG. Ohio State skates against Wisconsin in hockey, why wouldn't they square off in hoops as well? Rutgers does not have Big Ten hockey as far as I know. Did AD Hobbs drop the first puck at a Rangers hockey game at MSG like he threw a first pitch at Yankees Stadium and then make a ridiculous commitment?
If the season ticket package includes the Wisconsin game at MSG, I'd be pissed and would probably dump the ticket on StubHub.

Since it's a conference game, I'd be surprised if it isn't included. It's over a decade removed but they stuck us with a weeknight MSG against Carolina in the season ticket package once upon a time. Unlike that one, I might actually go this one since it's on a January Saturday.
RU welcomes four returning NCAA participants to the RAC, including Fairleigh Dickinson (Dec. 14), Iowa (Jan. 31), Michigan (Feb. 22) and Maryland (Feb. 28). The Scarlet Knights also host Wisconsin (Jan. 28) at Madison Square Garden in the “Super Saturday - College Hoops and Hockey” doubleheader that will be ticketed separately and not part of the season ticket package.

They didn't actually reduce the prices. It is still $25 per game; there are just fewer home games.
5k Wisconsin fans and 600 Ru fans. Still planning on going both games at the garden this year though .
Are tickets for this game on sale yet? We're going to spend the day in NYC and then take in the game. Should be fun.

Still my first reaction was $400 is a good amount. I can see why there haven't been that many season ticketholders-especially since they don't sell the 300 level as season tickets.
Just did this as another poster 1984 mentioned it and get 50% off. Tix are 33.75 plus 11.25 service charge and got gift 5 tickets for $225 in Section 120 Row 9
Harrison Barnes was on that team and I was a Junior in HS I think, definitely not "Over a decade removed" lol maybe 6 years
