Dremel and slot usage

Looks like someone is trying hard to rewrite history to support the anti cd bias.

Objectively he has had the best hands and it seems really strained (and not much more then defense of pre existing bias) to try so hard to argue against a sure handed receiver (when catching is a major issue) getting a few more reps.

Obviously, something did not work the last 2 games, so some significant changes to the offensive approach need to happen. You account for the injuries and then adjust the plan to who you have. Kirk gets paid a lot more than most of us, so he needs to figure it out. I see on other teams when a starter goes down, the next man up sometimes actually does better. The best example of this was Purdue QB last week. This might be a chance for some new people get a chance at some snaps which we will have to do at the 2nd RB with Sam out. And I would follow the Wisconsin strategy if we win the coin toss. Take the ball and get out ahead first. We have lost the 2 minute drill which we did better in the first 3 games.
Right now, UCLA is the biggest game of the year.

It is incredible how biased ash-o is on this Dremel thing. He really thinks those videos supports and justifies his bias rather than revealing it. It is sad for him.

As deep as the RB room is with KM still playing that should not be a problem

Our starting WR Corps just ain't getting it done, partly AK's fault and some their own fault. It's not an unreasonable thought that CD might be more productive than guys higher than him on the depth chart. It wouldn't hurt to find out.

Only concern is that Negative Two Point Zero might not give him many practice reps and instead continue to use him as our STAR punt returner.

Ash not feeling that Dremel is one of our Top 3 receivers does not make him biased. He’s entitled to his opinion. Millers best position is the slot, and he’s our leading receiver and better than Dremel. Dremel might see more action going forward, especially after possibly losing Fletcher,
but I’m not going to lose any sleep if he doesn’t, as we have more pressing matters. Wisconsin had zero respect for him, which is why they left him uncovered and he made them pay by making a big play. So good for him. Maybe we use him on running downs, as he is a good blocker. We’ll see.

If CD has good hands, why is he letting the punts bounce?
Because GS doesn't want him running hard to get to the ball to make the catch.. but if it is a normal punt he can easily reach.. he needs to fair catch it.. don't even look at the coverage.. just catch it.

How many games have we lost to a muffed punt? Cannot be that many that we both had a chance to win, and that was the difference. How about TD punt returns? Probably about the same in terms of changing games.

C'mon.. lets TRAIN our fastest guys who can return punts to both do fair catches and returns. This minimizing risk does not go well with a sport based on aggression.
