Dylan Harper >>>>>>Ace Bailey

I'll take your word here. I am not a loser (at least in my eyes) therefore I do not watch the NBA.
Lol now we are losers for even watching the NBA? Or would having to always point out that you don't watch the NBA when it's brought up loser behavior? You want to spread your feelings because of the NBAs growing world wide popularity. The next couple months of NBA basketball as teams battle for a spot in the playoffs will be some of the best entertainment you can watch. It's a shame your emotions and being petty will cause you to miss out.

I love @Greene Rice FIG but he pines for the days before the 3-pointer was even a thing. The NBA is not his game.
Give me a 45 second shot clock and an abolishment of the 3 point line and I would be so in to the NBA!

Make it happen!

My solution to the NBA......every 6 minutes of the period no 3 point line. The last 6 minutes of the 3 point line have at it and reassess.

I do think college and NBA shot clocks are too short. How do you get 3 to 4 ball reversals in 30 seconds?

They are trying to bring in new viewers.. I guess at the expense of og fans like yourself.. people love the Steph Curry, James harden, Luka Doncic style of 3pt shooting..like people love Steph Curry so the NBA will lean further into that. It is ridiculous some games though lol..also in regards to the shot clock, that has to do with viewership as well people like the fast break and a fast pace to the overall game....side note that's also probably why players bodies break down more now days and can't handle 82 games. They are running a fast break the entire game...also the rules and foul calls benefit the offensive player although this year refs are allowing more physical defense.

When I follow a team I like to watch almost every game. College basketball is about the limit for me. NFL, College Football, and College Basketball. Pro basketball, hockey, baseball too many games.

I went to a Sixers playoff game a few years ago.. it's insane how much faster those athletes are compared to the college game. It's not obvious on TV but in person it is night and day.

So you just want more old school Princeton 44-41 games

I totally understand my view is in the minority. I do think some fans might start getting turned off by the amount of 3 pointers.

The genie is out of the bottle. Steph Curry found the cheat code. Moving the line back would just make it look absurd.

I think basketball is such a beautiful game and the 3 pointers line and clock has ruined it for me. The 3 pointe line was exciting until the players mastered it.

Unfortunately the college game is morphing slowly in to looking like NBA game. How you defend high screens and defend the 3 pointers line has become very inportant.

Please don't call that basketball.

I will be watching the NHL, baseball season starting, and whatever my wife wants to stream to earn MBUs.

Didn't you say HC Pike and staff need to improve the offensive coaching in a other thread?

You know that means more 3pts and less mid range shots.

The NBA instituted the 3 point line because the game had become a giant violent fighting match in the paint and was becoming unwatchable, to improve the game and put more value back on skills like shooting and ball handling, they needed to open things up.

Ace and Dylan both have a great chance to be great pros, and have different challenges that they have to address.

I think the path for Ace is more straightforward with his size, shooting ability and range. Most guys his size are still learning to handle the ball at his age, and that will improve with training. They will do a much better job of getting him open and in a position to score, and will teach him what shots not to take.

With Dylan, he is going to be going up against much faster players in the NBA, so if they do not respect his 3 point shot, he may find it much more difficult to get to the rim. He also has to become a better playmaker, and improve his court vision to get his teammates involved and help them find better shots. On defense he will need to move his feet better and learn to stay in front of his man, because there is much less help.

Keep in mind they are both likely to end up on lousy teams. They will play a lot for teams that are in 2-3 year turnarounds, so their games should mature at the same time their teams are improving.
