Not so sure.about that

Name any coach you want. They aren't winning 5 confrence games with out current roster
COMPLETELY disagree. you give this exact roster to a big time coach and we are a .500 conference team
are you joking? I really hope so.

we are short on talent but so was gary waters 2001-2002 team; managed to win the majority of its games in a better conference. the big ten isn't great. has about 3 decent teams...

In what universe? Or perhaps you mean, give this exact roster to a big time coach and put us in the MAC and we are a .500 team?

Gary had a 28-52 Big East Record for the 5 years he was the MBB HC.
Waters had a 8-8 BE record his first year, but losing ones after that one.
His overal record was a winning one but had losing records in 2 of his five years as HC.
The 3 winning ones brought NIT bids and that's better than what Hill and Rice did and last year under Eddie.
This year Jordan wion't get RU to the NIT, but he did take over a mess and shouldn't have been expected to have a winning record this season.
But can't be given a complete pass on the way team is playing now.

Nope. Big Ten bball isn't great in fact it isn't even good. Wisconsin is the only elite team and they will be run out of the gym by Kentucky or Duke.

It's all coaching. I am not saying wed be great but this team hasn't competed to the level its capable of and that's on the coach. im not saying we have the guys to compete regularly with the top programs. but losses to St Peters, St Francis, Michigan at home, Northwestern at home, and a host of other ok teams we have lost to could have been reversed with better coaching.

Jordan is trying to run nba sets with man to man defense with a team who is outclassed. a good coach would work with what he or she has got and figure out a way to keep it competitive. running clock, changing up defenses, etc etc. we are giving up tons of points when no one in college bball can score, not even the top teams.

Devils advocate here...you know I agree with 99% of what you say...

You predicted over 5 conference games in the pre season and now you say no coach can get this unit to win 5. What gives?

I think a good coach might have this team at 5 wins in the conference, but no more. This is the most offensively inept group I've ever seen. How many missed layups?

ive seen far worse offensive teams than this one lol. And I also think Waters was a poor coach too just used that first year as an example of a good coaching job.

Ok, .500 may have been a bit of a stretch and if some of the scheduling were different i.e. getting Minny at home instead of @ minny or Illinois at home may lead to more winnable games, but the team is better than 10-18, 2 conf wins. This is a poor coaching job.
