I really wanted that game!

Game 51 of the Pikiell era is the best basketball from an RU team I have seen in a decade.

Who would have thought we'd be heartbroken after this game? I thought I'd be relieved when it's over to end the agony. Instead, I was hoping the game would last all night.

Pikiell has encouraged all of us to enjoy the process. So I will.

Even though Rutgers lost, this game shows: under Pike RU should become a well respected team and expected to make the NCAAs every year.
At least that's the way I see it.

It has been a long, long time since I followed a game online with enough intensity for people in the office to notice and wonder what the f**k is going on. Even in defeat, that's a nice step in the right direction. We care. Every single game.

We had a tough stretch after half time. We had the ball for some two minutes, down 32-27 and could not score. Then MSU got a little bit going and it was 37-27. Had we scored during that 2-minute stretch---decent shots but not falling. Of course, having four guys foul out didn't help. But the announcers commented that our pace was bothering MSU. Good.

Exactly right. Just enjoy the process. As long suffering fans, losses like this can be frustrating. But we have to remember that this team and Pikiell have nothing to do with decades of futility. He is turning around this program. It will just take some time.

Great game , disappointing result. It wasn't too long ago after the Hartford game that many were bemoaning the state of the program and whether we ere reverting to old form. No way. We have a very fine head coach who will lead Rutgers to the promised land . And it will happen sooner than many believe. Keep the faith........

I agree Jon. Coach is a great guy & the best coach for this team. He understands how to build a winner. I felt so bad for him, our staff and our players after the loss but if we can win on Sunday I will feel great for all of them plus our fans.
