Its prob a 9 month recovery, so likely by mid to late novemberThis really sucks. He will not be back until the end of the year - man.
9 months but for them to be back to full health really 2 years if you see others historyGotta feel for the kid. Getting better soon Mawot!!
Torn ACL is about a year recovery right? That could hinder him for next season also .
Don’t understand Simpson time?I feel read bad for Mag!!!!!
Simpson time.
Gotta hope an aggressive timeline or best case is 9 to 10 months. Then a ramp up of a couple more months in conditioning and basketball movements. He's a hard worker like our program looks for. I'm very confident he'll be back and stronger down the road.
Every ACL injury is different, players are different. He'll be back when he's back.ACL injuries are trending towards faster recovery times lately
Cam Akers played RB in the NFL after 6 months this past season
I would think Mag will be back to start next season
Hyatt's cap still needs to be 20 mins
Respectfully, I think, due to size differences between Mag's and your knees, that your ACL will not suffice. But it's a good thought.me, looking for a way to give Mag my ACL by game time.
Don’t understand Simpson time?
He plays a completely different position and subs for our 3 guards?
Same with Miller, you can’t actually be thinking about taking the ball out of Paul’s hands by moving him can you?
He's not missing the season next year. I'd bet a beer on that one.I am so upset about this, for Mawot and the team. He was literally blossoming as a player right before our eyes, such an improvement year over year and even month over month.
And now done for the year, and puts even next year in jeopardy for him since ACL recoveries vary.
Mother#%^£?!!’er!!
I like that you pointed to size difference as the reason why this wouldn’t work.Respectfully, I think, due to size differences between Mag's and your knees, that your ACL will not suffice. But it's a good thought.
4 guard lineup and we start losing our size advantage and rebounding bc more of a concern. More second chance points. He’s probably right. We’re a defense first team with or without Mag. The offense isn’t even top 100. We’ll likely shift to a 4 guard line up fairly often.
I mean sure, I may have overlooked one or two other minor factors that might make it slightly tricky to get Mag back up and playing by tonight's game by providing him with a replacement ligament.I like that you pointed to size difference as the reason why this wouldn’t work.
We’ll see. It worked for stretches in the second half on Saturday.4 guard lineup and we start losing our size advantage and rebounding bc more of a concern. More second chance points.
He will pound the nails …no doubtGotta hope an aggressive timeline or best case is 9 to 10 months. Then a ramp up of a couple more months in conditioning and basketball movements. He's a hard worker like our program looks for. I'm very confident he'll be back and stronger down the road.
DamnThat’s a real kick in the dick. Feel for the kid, hope he’s doing okay.
Geez, in the past he was hampered by terrible and painful teeth issues now this--hope he's able to recover back to full strength. Sadly, I believe he was so important to our success we need to realize winning even 4 more games, if that, will be very difficut.
Same here. Mag seems like a very likeable person and player, one who's easy to admire and have respect for. It's awful that this happened now.Heartbroken for Mawot.
