A two-time 800-meter sectional champion in high school, Schneekloth went on to letter four years indoor and outdoor at Rutgers University, where he also ran cross country for three seasons. A Scarlet Knights co-captain, Schneekloth was a four-time All-Big East selection as a member of the college’s distance medley and 4 X 800 teams.
