Well I'm TIRED of the hard lessons learned. This loss is inexcusable. INEXCUSABLE! We should have closed them out in regulation. Pike was out coached tonight. A loss we couldn't afford.

Can’t blame this one on the players. Pretty sure it said in Coach Pikes contract should he ever leave Stoney Brook he owes them 1 home game and 1 overtime loss. Brutal.
This loss is a good thing. Everyone was getting way ahead of themselves after SHU win. Still a long way to go..but getting there.
But they were 4-8 coming in. Sure they played everyone tough, but there is no excuse to lose this game on our home court. I realize the kids are not there, but geez, you can't lose this game. You just can't.
I know you're pissed, but you're wrong. It would only take us 10 OT's like this to lose.
Losing up 5 with the ball and 13.5 seconds left is a meltdown of epic proportions. First the horrible in-bounds pass turning it over, then letting them get an easy deuce, then a horrible turnover without getting a shot or a foul and then letting them hit a trey. Just pathetic execution in the endgame. And the OT had even more poor execution. Bad loss, no way around that.
Sorry, but this is NOT a good thing. I good thing would have learned from taking their heads out of their ass by letting Stony Brook to take them to OT, but hanging on to win. This loss was inexcusable.
I'm more than fine, but everyone, including our coaching staff, whom I LOVE totally screwed this one up.
If there's any good to come of tonight's loss, it's that the team needs maximum effort all 40 minutes and that even against supposed lesser teams they must come to play. They can't turn it on in the last 5 minutes and expect to win....
I believe it’s good. Again, team was talking about dancing all week cause of one game. Team is extremely flawed offensively and think it’s a good thing that they experience s “bad loss”
Losing is never a good thing. A tough win is a better teaching moment than a tough loss. I can't believe there are people out there who still think a loss can be good in any way. We're Rutgers. A loss is NEVER good.
Still a shot at the CBI (or whatever it’s called). The same place we would be going if we had won this game.
We got totally outplayed and actually got some favorable calls. We deserved to lose and probably would have lost in 2OTs the way we were playing.
That’s just backwards logic in my opinion. If they play bad and find a way to win, that’s a good thing. If they play bad and lose, that’s a bad thing.
Guys, we gave Stonybrook all they could handle. Keep in mind their program was in the tournament not too long ago. Keeping it this close was a moral victory IMHO.
