It’s because Minnesota is obviously a very very very very bad team and we should be blowing them out. We are playing down to the competition and we can’t afford to do that
yep. or we will get run out of the gym. Also paul very sloppy on his passes and i continue to say he’s not a good inbounds passer, turns it over way too often because he waits too long to throw it and then gets stuck.
Really really bad, they have earned their 200+ ranking in the NET.
Agree most will give pass here but you are right we dont aspire to be a bubble team. We want a double bye and 5 or 6 seed in ncaa

You can tell why Oskar doesn’t play. Very awkward out there. Seems to not know where to be off the ball on offense. A shame because with his height and shot, he could be a real asset. Otherwise, a pretty poor half defensively despite only giving up 24 (shows just how terrible Minnesota is). We continue to give up wide open 3s with no one within 5 feet of the shooter
That’d be a good start. He’s making it way too easy to defend us. Leave him open on the perimeter and you know we‘ll find him to miss a wide open 3.
Cliff 2nd foul was atrocious by him. Has to be smarter at this point in his career and with Wolf out
Oskar at least shows effort every time out there. He also isn't afraid to step in to take a charge. When the team looks half interested and without intensity, Oskar can bring a level of effort which can be contagious
Half the battle of achieving offensive efficiency is having the right guys take the right shots.

today they are in zone but overall i agree. Paul is also making sloppy passes trying to make a spectacular pass every time. Just make the simple play. Especially against them
Paul has to make himself an option to shoot the 3, even if he isn't going to shoot it. He just backs up and doesn't force the defense to even think about him at the top of the key.
I love Paul at the foul line against the 2-3 zone. Pikes been crazy this year not putting him at the foul line. We got a rare sighting of it tonight.

someone tell McConnel to stop taking threes if he refuses to step into his shot. His threes are all arm… it is crazy that he has a green light with that form
He rarely shoots in half one. Haven’t you all paid attention. He gets others involved. Half two is when he shoots. That’s normal for him.
We just need someone to make foul line jumpers. It is open. Take the 15 footer; do not force a pass inside.
