I thought it interesting in a way that Iowa no doubt expected to play #16 Mizzou in their tourney final, a bit of a challenge perhaps. Instead, Mizzou got knocked down by W. Ky, who actually pressured Iowa into OT. Interesting, especially since I haven't heard anything much about W. Ky of late.

Reaching back to yesterday, I am going to chide BK just a tad for not noting as interesting North Carolina's loss (at home) to Hampton, 70-66. At least I found it interesting, primarily because I like UNC WBB less and less every time I think of them.

I totally missed that. My only excuse is that there were 145 games on Friday - something like 90% of all D-I teams were playing - and I bet I missed some other interesting scores, too. You know if I'd seen it I would have posted it!
