If Dallas loses two and we win three, we are doing to see Romo. (in my opinion)
That could very well happen, but it's not like Romo has a great playoff track record, lol. If, a big if,the Giants get to that game, I'd love Eli's chances of winning. With all his faults, his playoff record is pretty good and historic in Super Bowl games. It's his ticket to the Hall Of Fame, for sure.

When the NFL had only 1 Wild card team and 3 divisions it probably happened more often that a 3rd meeting would happen.

Using the 1986 example:
- Giants 14-2
- Bears 14-2
- Redskins 12-4 (2 losses to the Giants)
- 49ers 10-5-1

The Redskins were arguably the 2nd best team in the conference. They lost to the Giants a 3rd time in the playoffs.

Now with 4 divisions the chances are slimmer that division mates will meet a 3rd time in the playoffs.

I also wonder if it was an impact when the Saints and Falcons were in the NFC West for years before the most recent divisions set up. There was even a season or 2 when the Cards moved to Arizona and were in the NFC east.

Now in the current set up I would think the Eagles may have an advantage with the least amount of travel. They are 2 hours from Fedex Field in DC and about 95 mins from Met Life Stadium.

For Seattle they are a 13 hour drive (800 miles) from their closest division mate.

You people are crazy to think Romo is going to replace Dak. Seriously zero logic to it. Dude is 11-2.

Dak has thrown for less than 200 yds in his last 3 games. He's 3 for 24 on 3rd down conversions in his last 2 games. No way the go back to Romo? When Dallas gets knocked out in the division round and Romo wins the Super Bowl in Denver next year - Dallas is gonna be the ones that look crazy.

And they win 2 of the games. No other QB has won 11 games this year and Romo is coming off multiple surgeries and has played a grand total of 4 games with a 79 QB rating. Romo was a great QB at one time but like Peyton his best days are in the mirror.
