Nope, but my advice wouldn't be to change pencils either.

Our uniforms are fine. Do you really like Michigan State's uniforms? Yet they finished pretty high in that poll. Wonder if that has anything to do with winning and being on National television for a decade. I'd wager that when Purdue was winning with Tiller their uniforms would have finished higher on the list.

Three classic uniforms in the B1G: Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State. Everyone else is tied for 4th.

By that logic they should've changed it when they got rid of the crew team.

Its stupid to be yelling "red team" when they are in black.

Completely disagree. Black should continue to be part of our color pallet. There are three other teams in the B1G alone that have red and white(ish) as their primary colors, and even more across the rest of college football. Far fewer use red, black, and white.

Keep the black uniforms.

Rutgers was red long before any of those teams (1869)

That's the funny part. When Rutgers was in the Big East/AAC we had classic Big Ten uniform that fit right in with Michigan, Nebraska, Penn State. Now that Rutgers is in the Big Ten they are wearing unis better suited for Conference USA.

I always thought TTFP's uniforms were dull. It was like watching an old timey "history of football" clip with projection reel sound effects in the beginning - they're one step away from being in black and white and shown on a television that came built inside a cabinet.

Have always been a fan of Michigan's look, and I've liked OSU's look, too.

Penn state is not classic it's horrible and boring !

I disagree Scarlet, I think it's far more a function of fans not liking a pinkish tone to the uniform, coupled with illegible names and numbers...you don't?

I don't know zap- there generally seems to be a demographic on this board that just doesn't like change in general and/or feels that trying new things threatens "tradition."

exactly. The 2006 unis are similar PSUs classic, clean look. The unis are part of our football brand. When i think of a rutgers football player, he's wearing a 2006 uniform.
