Sorry..but I played alot of ball in my day, on a very good HS team with Roy Hinson at Franklin...and Goode is gettin what we used to call "Froze out"...For someone who's supposed to be a SHOOTER....I have YET to see him shoot, or even a play called for him...Yet I gotta watch Corey and BJ CHUCK the ball ???? hmmm...smells fishy

He can't create his own shot. Anytime he has an opening he takes too long and gets closed out. He has had his chances this year and has not looked to shoot.

And he stands in one place way too much. He should watch film of Steve Alford

I don't think it's fishy--he doesn't move at all without the ball and appears to have no confidence when he gets it. He had a nice baseline move three weeks ago, but otherwise doesn't do much with the ball, including create his own shot. He might grow into it, but right now he doesn't move without the ball. Very few of our players do, for that matter.

I've seen him move PLENTY so far this game!!!

Yes, he moves plenty, but he is never open - he cannot get open against any defender with any lateral movement at all..

And when he has been open in prior games he has generally missed his 3's.

Coming into this game he is just 6-24 from 3 (25%) ... and he NEVER takes a contested 3.

Plus he cannot defend at this level.

His teammates know he's not going to shoot it so why pass it to him. It's like the one kid in rec or cyo league.

He's no good at this level , sad part is , Eddie refuses to let him sit smh

he is not a Big 10 level..but Eddie has no choice but to give him minutes...but that's Eddie for terrible recruiting, it sucks with the injuries but everyone except Lewis is his guy

SBP -- are you suggesting that the RU kids aren't exactly a Band of Brothers like Easy Company? Eddie Jordan sure isn't Lt. Winters.

I think its pretty clear Goode would be more successful playing at a lower level of competition. He can't create his shot off the dribble and he takes too long to get off a shot from a stationary position. What I like about him is that he makes some very good bounce passes for uncontested layups.Unfortunately,at Rutgers far too many players need a heavy dose of development in order to be productive and right now there is no time for that to happen.
