Gutsy AF performance tonight.

I can't say a bad thing about anyone, including the coaching staff.

Unreal that we clawed back and hung around in that game, taking one of the best teams in the country to OT on the ROAD.

Every single kid played their heart out and left it on the floor. Pikiell was a magician with his substitutions all game. Rotating players in and out. At one point we had 4 players with 4 fouls with a handful of minutes left in Regulation!

First time we played MSU we held them to their lowest scoring half. This time around held them to almost the same. Held one of the best players in the country - Bridges - to 0 points in the first half. Held them to 76 after an OT.

Our D was giving MSU players fits all game. Izzo looked like a ghost at a couple points towards the end of the game. I really thought they were gonna pull it off. Langford came up huge for them.

Another amazing showing by the team and staff. Let's keep it up now that we have some winnable games coming up! These kids deserve it.

Great effort. I’m sure the guys are disappointed but as a long time season ticket holder, I’m so proud of these boys. Think about where we’ve come from just two years ago. This is how it looks when you are turning that corner. I said 2019 is going to be a very big year for Rutgers and it’s hard work. Nothing comes easy at this level but we have the right coach. Izzo was on the ropes tonight. He’s a hall of fame coach.
