Blocking kicks, sacking QB's, QB hitting receivers, up 17-14. It's only the first half but there is a lot of positive things going on.

Even if this doesn’t finish as a win this Rutgers D is bringing the pain tonite. You can see Gavin Wimsatt has the talent and just needs the live game reps. Credit goes to Greg Schiano on the call to go for the first down. Wimsatt throws bullets and gets it off quick …faster than anyone in recent memory. Sean Ryan is playing very well tonite. Nice to see us come out ready.

Some of you are infatuated with me almost as much as you are with Schiano.. maybe because somewhere deep inside in places you don't talk about at parties, you want me on this board.. you need me on this board.

I'm sure this 52-17 drubbing is just part of your saviour's grand plan. But I hope one day you'll be able to handle the truth.

You better have your head on a swivel at temple… Three quick hits are coming to those little nutz…

Schiano skeptics are expected to change their mind and admit they're wrong after one half of football but Schiano supporters don't change their minds or admit they're wrong even after dozens or years of games.
Has there ever been a truer statement written on this board?

Schiano’s skeptics were here in 2001-2004. Then some no longer here disappeared for about 8 years. Now back in an attempt to recreate Rutgers back into respectability and in a much tougher conference . Those same anti Schiano folks will always criticize fans who are not only Schiano supporters but look at the being half empty or half full. They live life that way . The “ see I told you he sucked crowd.” May be right… we’ll see over the next 3-4 years. I would not bet against Greg Schiano here. We all should be hoping he makes this a reality and not a wild dream. Have a great day… onto MSU.

You are another who for awhile disappeared . You and Sam should be spend a weekend in East Lansing .

Bingo. Same crowd and they don’t just get against him they root against him. They are not RU fans.

This is the point where sure as night follows day Schiano apologists come out not to defend Schiano, since it was another beatdown, but to attack anyone with the audacity to not be a True Believer and to be unhappy about a loss after yet another drubbing. No criticism for the coach, just his critics. Our "real fans" are happy with endless losses and endless promises of next year. They will do this after every game, like clockwork, no matter if they are all losses for the rest of the season.

It‘s the same logic on why I can’t fondly remember the win over UofM in 2014 because Flood sucked.

Note, I can and he did. Some can have 2 thoughts at the same time…

Not saying that you can’t have different thoughts . It’s simply obvious some will be quick to criticize but never see them post anything even if something is positive. That’s just my opinion… and many others who don’t like losing getting squished like a bug. MBB for years was worse and today the Steve Pikiell criticisms are basically non existent . Why because his rebuild with under rated players has proved his goal is becoming our reality . Same with many other sports. Most of the habitual critics are really fair weather fans who like most of New Jersey cares little about Rutgers Academically and Athletically. And for those idiots who keep spouting the , “Rutgers is only in the B1G for it’s TV sets in the Metro Area “ Who cares … we ‘re in 1 of the BEST and soon to be better conferences in both Academics and Sports.
