"Thankfully they're playing Rutgers and we all know Rutgers would schedule themselves for their homecoming if they could for a red and grey game. And luckily they start with a MAC opponent in Rutgers simply in the BigTen because Jim Delany thought it would help his retirement package to get all of the New York City homes to get the BigTen Network oh by the way the New York doesn't care about the Rutgers. But they start with Rutgers to get the feel good, and after that every other weeks a battle."

LOL
Somebody should link that video from those guys in Ark. after we beat them. "we lost to Rutgers???"

Love the Tenn program.
They didn't even give us a more modern plane! Rutgers in a bi-plane to single wing.
But, those bi-planes were always more maneuverable than a single.

Guy obviously needs to do more research and doesn't understand our TV market.

Scarlet and white....Rutgers has never worn grey that I know of.

The homes with TV sets that count include, among others, those stretching from Ocean County up to Sussex County. The NJ counties within the NYC Metro DMA care enough about Rutgers, and they get to drag all of the downstate NY counties, 5 boroughs, and LI with them when BTN's signal comes on the screen anywhere in the DMA. The NJ portion of the market alone is larger than all DMAs in the state of Michigan except, obviously, for their largest one (Detroit metro).

Big Ten TV numbers rose dramatically last year when Rutgers hoops made some noise. It will happen 4 times over when the Rutgers football team is competitive in the Big Ten and playing games in time slots other than noon time.

I don’t know who Mr. Hondo is, nor do I want to. However I did look up what ”Hondo” means and the definition in the Urban Dictionary fits.

Thanks, had to look it up too. Below are the examples on how to use hondo in a sentence.

After eating that huge burrito, a hondo is in order.

I think I just took the worlds fastest hondo (appropriate for use after a case of diahreaha).

Put it on the bulletin board. MSU (already with little brother syndrome) is like Northwestern and Purdue, staining their pants that Rutgers will pass them in athletic relevance and media hype once football gets back to where it belongs. Because they saw it happen and know it can and will again so they want to hold us down as long as possible

I doubt it. We have yet to beat them since we've joined the conference in football or men's bball. They just have no respect for us. That's pretty much it.

I'm always amazed when folks don't mention southern NJ which includes a ton of alums (including RU-C ones that do root for RU-NB). Last I checked, Philly was the #4 DMA and we are a decent chunk of it.

I came here to look at this thread immediately after we won. My first thought was what a douche this guy must feel like after trash-talking us so bad. Yeeeeehaaaaa!!

Matt McMillan is still a shill...after the game he says” Chris Ashe really got these guys ready by showing them how to work”...Actually , a bigger JO then I originally thought.

Millen should have stuck with the profession he was really good at..,NFL GM. He is probably the worse announcer in the nation.

I was shocked he gave props to Ash. We hadn't won a game in forever, Ash didn't coach the final eight games of last season, our defense, offense and STs sucked balls, and Millen throws some kind of sunshine at Ash. Unreal.

Yeah, that's bad. Nevermind GS turned over a lot of the roster.

Hey Hondo....did you wipe you @$$ with that mask before wearing it / making your pithy prediction! What you don't know about Rutgers / NYC is truly staggering![roll]

Tucker was out coached.

MSU was outplayed.

Rutgers WON IT going away!
