Just wondering if there are any numbers being reported as to ticket sales for Rutgers-Miami. If not, when would such information get released?

Ticket sales look extremely weak so far judging by the TicketMaster chart. Not sure how many have sold from each allotment but there's no evidence ours is even close to sold out. Yes, the 300 levels were opened up on the "Rutgers side," but only a handful of tickets have actually sold; there is one entire section without a single ticket bought.

Thinking this will be by far the lowest attended of the three Pinstripe Bowls we've played in. It makes sense since we're on a 4-game losing streak, struggled all year to fill our own stadium and don't have a Notre Dame-level fanbase to drive ticket sales this time around.

100’s /200’s - selling very well (RU side)
Delta Club - SOLD OUT (RU)
Audi Club - SOLD OUT (RU)
LF bleachers - SOLD OUT (RU)
300’s - on sale about 48-hours or so

…. so about exactly where ticket sales should be expected at this time. We are still two weeks out. Since you can only order up to eight tickets through the school, as usual, most of those groups, take their time forming and will start ordering this weekend and all next week. This is the same exact thing that has happened every single time we have traveled to a bowl game other than The Gator Bowl.

Expect more sections to open in the 300’s next week AND THEN come about the 23rd we’ll start seeing people purchasing once the weather looks “good enough” to them.

Thank you for the reply and information.

We've played in LOL. Go root for the Orange

I ordered 17 tickets at the $60 price point. I was assigned section 233B in left field. Looks like a good view of the field.

Stubhub showing increase in activity the past couple days

Why an 8 ticket limit through the school?
If you had a larger group, could you call the ticket office directly and arrange it?

Just curious on why the limit.

Ummmm. Wrong again Genius.
2 of the 3 recently opened up Sections in 300 Level are now 50% sold.
Meanwhile the Miami side has thousands of seats available and there no Sections in the 300 level for sale.
Brilliant

Isn’t it a good thing for ticket sales if the cheapest seat on Ticketmaster is $72.20?
That's just the minimum price set in advance by the Yankees/bowl organizers. Doesn't mean much either way in terms of predicting attendance.

I just took a look at the interactive Ticketmaster chart and to be completely objective: sales look decent but not great. The good news is there's still plenty of time left for RU (and Miami) fans to buy tickets. Hopefully the bowl can find a way to draw some casual fans as well, although I worry that the price you stated (basically $100 for a nosebleed ticket after fees) will keep them away, along with the weather.

My God you actually changed your screen name in a thread you posted under Cheap Sunglasses already. You are such a an F-ing loser!!

Our sales are brisk on the 3rd base side.
Should see more sections opening up beyond the 3 sections already being sold in the 300 Level.

Miami side is real bad. Will be a ghost town over there.
They're used to it
Couple games this year had Pitt type attendance !!

Miami fans only come to the games when they have a chance for a national title or when a big name comes to town, or a Florida/FSU. Otherwise they are major bandwagon fans. It is no surprise that their fans are sitting this one out.
