How is all that b10 $$$ working out for us?

While you are correct, he's a troll and doesn't care. Accuracy ain't his concern.
Yeah I know and I probably shouldn’t have taken the bait, but on the other hand, I see no downside in posting objective takes as counterargument — even to a troll.

We also kept an athletic director spending most of his time at women's gymnastics tournaments. How long did that go on until he got canned?
This coming from a guy whose school hid boys being played with in the shower by a creepy old coach for decades.

Yes it's a real debate alright

If you told people in 2012 on this board that:

- We'd be bowl eligible in back to back years in the Big Ten
- We'd have a top 10 class in football and top 2 in MBB
- We've made 2 tournament appearances with a third only missing because of a global crisis
- We'd be ranked #41 nationally academically and top 15 public school

They'd have given their left nut for it

And they'd laugh off people bellyaching like they are now

Give me a break
We have a top ten class in football?

I honestly think he didn't realize the mistake.. even when mocked.. which is bad because auto-correct could have been responsible.. but to not get the joke shows a level of.. well, ignorance.

Of course, English may not be his first language.

its been quite great actually - Livingston has received a huge upgrade to the point where its a completely different place. Busch and College Ave both have also updated a bit but nowhere what Livingston got. Rutgers is the 40th overall ranked University in the country. Our basketball program pulled in 2 of the top 3 picks in next year's NBA draft, and even was a finalist for Carmelo Anthony's son. Football is bowl eligible for 3rd time in 4 years after being absent for 6 straight years. We've had 3 individual national champs in the past 5 years and have highly reputable wrestling, lacrosse, baseball, basketball, football, soccer, track and field, gymnastics programs.

Might not be Ohio State, but Rutgers is doing well.
